Jill Burke DPT, CCRP

Jill graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2008. After graduation, she began working at an outpatient clinic. She treats both adult and pediatric patients with both orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. She has always loved animals, and is especially fond of dogs. As a child she cared for many types of pets, including 4 dogs (a Black Lab, a Dalmatian, a Basset Hound, and a Cockapoo). In November of 2008 Jill adopted Ike, a Black Lab Mix, from American Lab Rescue. She enjoys taking Ike to the local dog parks so he can run and play with all of his friends. Also, Jill and Ike participate annually in the Providence Animal Rescue League’s Pet Walk to help raise money for animals in need. When learning about the canine rehabilitation program at the University of Tennessee, Jill was given the opportunity to pursue her passion of working with dogs. She completed courses in July 2009 in order to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). She is excited to work in this up and coming field and of the prospect of making canine lives better.
